Congratulations to 5280 Editor-at-Large Mike Kessler, whose "Out in the Cold" has been awarded Honorable Mention in the John Bartlow Martin Award for Public Interest Magazine Journalism. Kessler's year-long investigation into the plight of Rocky Flats nuclear weapons plant workers has been been repeatedly honored, including being named a finalist for the National Magazine Award. The subject has more recently been taken up by the Rocky Mountain News.
