Cynthia Steffe

The Gist: The Cynthia Steffe label is recognized for its accessible take on fashion trends, and for Spring 2009 designer Shaun Kearney keeps things sweet without becoming too complicated or fussy. Featuring: Floral print dresses and flirty tiered skirts (some with a modern lace pattern peeking out from underneath), slim Bermuda or high-waisted cuffed shorts, lingerie separates in the form of bustiers and bras, and sleeveless vests make up most of the collection. Feminine details abound, like smocked-waist jackets, rompers and dresses, crop pants tied just below the knee, and sheer, billowy blouses. The "It" Factor For Denver:

Kearney's floral print dresses with smocked waists have a modern sense of ease. Look For It Next Spring At: Garbarini, 3003 East Third Avenue 303-333-8686. Visit our Fashion Week blog for more designers and Denver "it" factors. Photos courtesy of Mercedez Benz Fashion Week 2008.
