Ralph Lauren

The Gist: For spring, Ralph Lauren heads to the Near East with a collection fit for an adventurous, world traveling woman. Featuring: The best harem pants (to the ankle or mid-calf) of the season, satin safari shirts, fitted military jackets, and boy-meets-girl suiting complete with metallic ties are all a part of this spring show. Lauren's desert palette of crisp white, khaki, and olive is punctuated with gold and silver metallic. Accenting his collection is a plethora of accessories, including canvas hip-slung bags, scarves, double-wrap or braided leather belts, fedoras, and fabulous canvas and leather travel bags. And because no well-traveled woman's wardrobe is complete without night-time attire, Lauren closes his show with a parade of truly chic evening columns that come draped in lace, gauze, satin, or jersey. The "It" Factor For Denver:

You name it. Lauren's brilliance is his ability to adapt any theme to making beautiful, wearable clothing--and this collection delivers in in spades. Look For It Next Spring At: Polo Ralph Lauren, 3000 East First Avenue, 303-355-7656.
