Fashion designers don't usually dress the United States Department of Defense, but Alpha Industries isn't just any brand. In 1959, the company revamped the DOD's military jacket, and since then it has supplied the U.S. Air Force, Navy, Army, and Marine Corps with modern versions. Over the years, Alpha has also gained a following among fashion mavens in the U.S., Europe, and Japan. (Nicole Kidman wears their flight jacket).
