Best Theatre Bet: The Miracle Worker

Since its 1957 theatrical release, the story of Anne Sullivan's struggle to teach the blind and deaf Helen Keller has seen countless reincarnations--from Broadway to a feature film. The latest of these reprises is from the Denver Center Theatre Company, which brings to life the earliest days of Sullivan and Keller's relationship. Both passionate acting and tangible emotion make this performance's familiar story surprisingly captivating. Tue-Wed 6:30 p.m.; Fri 7:30 p.m.; Sat 1:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. The Space Theatre, 1101 13th St., $46-$51, 303-893-4100, official website
