Wednesdays throughout January, the Denver Film Society plays back the best flicks of its 2008 festival. The brilliantly animated film Sita Sings the Blues--a spoof on the ancient Hindu story The Ramayana--opens the series, and next Wednesday the documentary Another Planet explores the unequal distribution of wealth in Ecuador, Mexico, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Cambodia.
