Online Shopping: Boulder's Foodzie Inc.

If you can't buy local, buying small and supporting the little guy is second best. Foodzie, a new Boulder-based website, has cropped up to help foodies do just that. The gourmet site functions as an online marketplace for mom-and-pop food companies--think artisan cheese, chocolates, olive oil, and the like--while helping the fledgling vendors gain traction in a cut-throat industry. Currently, 26 companies from around the country peddle their goodies on Foodzie, including local faves Teatulia Teas, Boulder Popcorn, Seth Ellis Chocolatier, and Black Forest Bison. Best of all, prices are reasonable and the products are top-notch.
