Arrest Follows Triple Shooting In Fort Collins

Police arrested 21-year-old Joshua Douglas Renn of Loveland yesterday, following a triple shooting in Fort Collins on Monday that left one man dad. Renn is being held on suspicion of murder and two counts of attempted murder, according to The Denver Post, which notes the shootings occurred near the Colorado State University campus. It's not the first time Renn has been in trouble. In 2006, he was armed with a handgun during a car chase with local sheriff's deputies before he was arrested, according to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, which describes Renn's myriad run-ins with the legal system. A local resident, Ben Faddis, tells 7News the incident was scary. He had thought his neighborhood was safe.
