Best Comedy Bet: Darrell Hammond
By January 23, 2009 9:09 AM
His impersonations of Bill Clinton, Sean Connery, and members of the Bush administration are so dead-on that comic Darrell Hammond has been called the U.S. impressionist laureate.
Indeed, the actor's sketches of politicians, from the Rev. Jesse Jackson to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, have kept him on "Saturday Night Live"
for 13 seasons, longer than any other actor on the show.
His two-night Denver stop is part of a rare series of studio appearances.
