What's Up at the Rocky?

As KUNC reports, there's still no word on whether the "debt-ridden" Rocky Mountain News will be shut down. One thing is certain: For the hundreds of employees at the paper, the last few weeks have been tough.

I wish all the best to the Rocky staff, and hope the paper finds a buyer. Their writers and photographera are top notch!

According to a part-timer inside, some people (number unknown) got their walking papers last Friday (the 30th) while a largish luncheon party was happening on the top executive floors. Also unknown is to which paper they belonged.
