Forget the Barack Obama High School Campaign

Even in the so-called People's Republic of Boulder, decades of tradition would not yield to liberal Obama-mania. Student activists at Boulder High School yesterday dropped their campaign to rename the school Barack Obama High School amid apparent opposition to their plan. Students opposed to the idea wore Boulder High gear and carried signs, according to Boulder's Daily Camera. Some students even called for an end to the Student Worker group, which proposed the idea. "We have realized that we made a gross error in our understanding of the significance of the Boulder High School name," Ben Raderstorf, who leads that group, told a classroom brimming with television cameras, teachers, students, and others.
