Avalanche Stuffs the Red Wings in Detroit

Jordan Leopold scored the win for the Colorado Avalanche in a 6-5 shootout victory over the Red Wings in a tense but exciting match-up yesterday, according to The Associated Press, which notes that the Avs ended a four-game, on-the-road losing streak in Detroit. Andrew Raycroft stopped 40 shots in regulation and overtime; during the second round of the tiebreaker, he let just one puck from Henrik Zetterberg through the goal.
