8 Things You May Not Know About Top Single Hilary Martin, Communications/PR

hillary Although she's an ex-New Yorker, in this month's Single in the City feature, Hilary Martin confesses, that she loves Boulder, too. The outdoors, yoga, and mountains have shaped her life. Celebrity crush: Sting. And I still have that crush. He's hot, a philanthropist, does yoga and tantra, and loves his wife. Nickname: Ducks. I love ducks because they mate for life. I think. Biggest Influence: The places I've lived--Colorado particularly--have influenced so many of my interests. I'm pretty outdoorsy now. I've run several marathons, raced 24 hours of Moab on mountain bike, climbed fourteeners. But my New York City side still begs for a bed over a sleeping bag.

She's so over: People who criticize more than they compliment. Rainy-day activity: Putting on awesome music and whipping up great creations: banana bread, pies, soup, a huge dinner for friends. Guilty pleasure: Eating Kozy Shack chocolate pudding while watching "Family Guy." Philosophy to live by: I have three: "Participate in life" (my stepmother); "Smile. It's the second best thing you can do with your lips" (unknown); "Do one thing every day that scares you" (Eleanor Roosevelt). Last book she read: Merle's Door by Ted Kerasote. It's an awesome dog book. Send Hilary an e-mail via singles@5280.com.
