Between trips to the caterer and florist, the last thing a bride-to-be wants to navigate is an overwhelming dress shop. Yet so many bridal shops hang dress after dress, making gown shopping feel like a confusing maze through silk, lace, and gauze.
Castle Rock's
Little White Dress is out to change that. The year-old store, run by Cate Malone, who left a career as a paralegal to pursue her love for all things bridal, has a sprawling floor space--each dress is visible as it hangs--and meeting spots (think plush red chairs and magazines) where mom and friends can huddle to offer opinions.
Try on a narrowly cut
Claire Pettibone gown, accented with custom-designed European lace; a sleek and modern
Valentino dress; or one of the six other designers only Malone carries in Colorado.
Or if you're shopping on a budget, head upstairs, where Little White Dress sells discontinued styles for $1,000 or less.
