Though the show airs on April Fool's Day (April 1), the broadcast is no joke. Television judge Lynn Toler will interview the couple about how they've managed to stay married throughout the controversy, which led the couple to flee their Colorado Springs home after Haggard resigned from his church and as the president of the National Association of Evangelicals, reports 7News. "This is part of Ted's journey," Gayle Haggard has said. "It's made him a better man. I see what has happened as a divine rescue." The couple will be paid an undisclosed amount to appear on the show.
