Teens in England Charged with Plotting Attack on Columbine Anniversary

Less than a month before the 10th anniversary of the Columbine shootings, some are looking back with heavy hearts and others are planning a repeat. The latest wannabes, two boys ages 16 and 17 from the Manchester area in England, were planning to strike on April 20, reports the BBC, the anniversary of the tragic high school shootings in which Eric Harris, 18, and Dylan Klebold, 17, fatally shot 13 people at Columbine High School before turning their guns on themselves. The teens and location of the school were not named by authorities, according to The Washington Post. Meanwhile, in Colorado, the survivors of Columbine gathered recently to share their stories of recovery and renewal, writes PRNewswire. The gathering, "Colorado Rising: The Future of School Safety," was organized by School Safety Partners in the hopes of easing the impending media circus as the anniversary nears.
