Best Family Bet: Kids Free At DAM During Spring Break

Cold weather may be in the forecast this week, but don't let that keep you and the kids inside for spring break. Head to the Denver Art Museum, where all week long, kids under 18 years old are admitted for free. Check out the recently reopened Western American galleries on the seventh floor. Spend some time in the American Indian rooms, weaving on an authentic Navajo loom. Or simply wander from collection to collection, checking out the museum's pre-1850s to modern art. Through Mar. 29. Wed-Thu 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Fri 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sat 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sun noon-5 p.m. Denver Art Museum, 100 W. 14th Ave. Pkwy., 720-865-5000 Free
