Nuggets Can't Get Past the Lakers

The Denver Nuggets, the second-ranked team in the Western Conference, lost to the top-ranked Lakers 116-102 in Los Angeles last night--the Lakers' third win in four games against Denver this season. With just two games left, Denver still looks poised to hold the number 2 spot in the conference, but Houston is on their tail, according to The Denver Post. Last night, the Nuggets were called on a season-high 32 fouls, and the Lakers were a season-best 37-for-46 from the free-throw line.
