It may have been a tough year for the ski industry, but Vail's still closing its slopes in style. Today kicks off a multiday party that culminates with free Chris Isaak and O.A.R. concerts on Friday and Sunday, respectively. Throughout the week, check out the mountain's film competition (one skier and one videographer make a three-minute movie) and pond-skimming contests, in which costumed athletes try to ski or ride across a frozen pond.
