The Digital Switchover

While I was watching television last night, the folks at KUSA (NBC, channel 9) and KMGH (ABC, channel 7) badgered with me reminders every few minutes: On Thursday morning, they'd be switching over to digital signals. So anyone with an antenna--like myself--wouldn't be getting a signal unless they had a digital conversion box and did some quick channel searching to find the stations. None of the warnings, however, stopped me from waking up this morning, trying to flip on the news (okay, it was the Today show) and saying: "What the hell?" After five minutes of flipping, my memory clicked: I did the search, and got my channels back. And, judging from the calls 9News has been getting, I'm not the only one who was a little confused. So, find your channels and then call your grandmother. I bet she could use your help.
