From Argentina with Love Brings South America Home

The mountains that jut up beyond Mendoza, Argentina, look surprisingly like Denver's Rockies, which may be why local food blogger and 5280 contributor Rebecca Caro felt so inspired by her visit to the South American city. Or maybe it was the city's love of mild Malbec, evening barbecue, and flaky empanadas that won her heart. Now back in the United States, the Littleton-based writer is recording her memories of Argentina via her heartfelt food blog, From Argentina With Love. Caro's simple descriptions and photos of Mendoza's bakeries, olives, and cheese feed the imagination of any hungry traveler--and whet the palette for her instructional classes at the Seasoned Chef and Whole Foods.
