Can Lance Armstrong Bring Cycle Racing Back to Colorado?

Governor Bill Ritter says Lance Armstrong, who has a home in Aspen, wants to bring world-class bicycle racing back to Colorado: "He has this idea and he's working on it from his end. There is some possibility we could bring it back" (via The Associated Press). Armstrong wrote on his Twitter page Wednesday that he had "a great conversation with Governor Ritter from Colorado. Working on something. Stay tuned." Colorado staged cycle racing in the 1970s and '80s--the Coors Classic, which was last held in 1988.
