In Memoriam: Rodger McFarlane

Rodger McFarlane, a leader in the gay rights movement during the early days of the AIDS epidemic, committed suicide Friday in New Mexico after a long battle with heart and back problems, writes The New York Times. McFarlane was also the first executive director of the Gay Men's Health Crisis and former executive director of the Denver-based Gill Foundation. McFarlane, 54, lived in Denver.
