Political Writer Andrew J. Bacevich Tonight at Tattered Cover

andrewTake a West Point and Princeton grad, put him through the Vietnam War, make him a professor of international relations at Boston University, and then, give him a pen--and you'll get Andrew Bacevich. The professor has written several books critiquing U.S. foreign policy, and his latest, The Limits of Power: The End of American Exceptionalism, closely examines the role the United States plays in the world power scheme. When Bacevich reads tonight at the Tattered Cover, he's likely to discuss not only American exceptionalism but also the Cold War, President Bush, and U.S. theology. Thu, May 28, 7:30 p.m. Free. Tattered Cover Historic LoDo, 1628 16th St., 303-436-1070
