Is Brandon Marshall's Suspension from the Broncos Inevitable?

The drama cloud is hovering over the Denver Broncos again. This time, it looms over star wide receiver Brandon Marshall and the many issues with his ex-girlfriend, Rasheedah Watley, who dished to ESPN about events that led to Marshall's one-game suspension last year. Marshall responded, also via ESPN, but Westword points out that he looked "terrible," and that National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell appears to have no choice but to suspend Marshall for up to a year. Goodell is set to rule on Marshall's fate soon in relation to his latest arrest earlier this year involving issues with a different woman. In other Broncos news, the team is still being criticized for the totality of change in its off-season so far. ESPN's John Clayton says the Broncos are "acting like the equivalent of an expansion team." At least tight end Tony Scheffler seems to be fitting in with rookie head coach Josh McDaniels' plans for the team, writes The Denver Post. That's good news, because Scheffler was reportedly upset about the way McDaniels traded away his best friend on the team, quarterback Jay Cutler, who is having his own issues adjusting to fans in Chicago (via The Scores Report).
