Weathering the Weather

Another twister touched down near the town of Firestone on Tuesday afternoon, as June's extreme weather continues. No major damages resulted, and one local called the tornado just "a gully washer," writes The Denver Post. More severe weather is in the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday, so don't gorge on all the canned goods in the cellar just yet. Retailers at the Southlands mall in Aurora opened their doors just 48 hours after suffering thousands of dollars in destruction from a twister on Sunday (via 9News). Local mallgoers can also get a glimpse of some frivolous history in the making: An Arizona man on a quest to visit a P.F. Chang's China Bistro in every major city will kick off his mission on Friday in Denver, according to the Denver Business Journal. But all is not well and good in Colorado's corporate restaurant world: The founder of Chili's Bar & Grill restaurants, Norman Brinker, died Tuesday at the age of 78 in Colorado Springs (via The Associated Press).
