Lauren Alesso isn't letting the recession put a damper on Denver's design scene. Six months ago, the former buyer for One Home Cherry Creek opened a contemporary furnishings boutique, Alesso Modern Source, in Riverfront North. Ever since she's filled her bright shop with the chairs, tables, and lamps of renowned local (Michael McCoy) and international (Moooi, Piet Boon) designers. Tonight, she opens her doors for a soiree.
