Breckenridge July Art Festival This Weekend

breckThis year, instead of fighting the heat at the annual Cherry Creek Arts Festival, head to Breckenridge for the town's yearly gathering of local and national artists. As a cool mountain breeze glides through the air, check out paintings, nature photography, ceramics, and even woodwork. Sure, the high country's artists may not be as avant-garde as those in the Denver show, but they provide a nice diversion from city life. Fri-Sun, July 3-5. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Main Street Station and The Village at Breckenridge, South Main St. and Park Ave. 970-547-9326, free
