Although Rockies slugger Brad Hawpe received the most votes from his peers to be placed on the National League's All-Star team, he's been left off the list of starters. Instead, National League manager Charlie Manuel will start Philadelphia Phillies center fielder Shane Victorino (pictured). Unfortunately, Manuel's choice makes sense: Hawpe has never played center field. And Manuel tells The Denver Post he hopes to put in Hawpe somehow: "Hawpe is a tremendous player. I like everything about him. I am sure I will work him into the game." At least Hawpe made the team. There are some glaring omissions, as this list of snubs at MLB.com shows, starting, in the National League, with Washington outfielder Adam Dunn, who logs 22 homers and 59 runs batted in.
