Best Bites: Parsley's Cherokee Turkey Sandwich

If you haven't already discovered Parsley, a 15-month-old sandwich spot in the Golden Triangle, put it on your to-do list. The bright green shop dishes up some of the freshest lunch offerings around with organic ingredients and creative combinations. One of Parsley's most popular sandwiches---the Cherokee turkey---has become my mid-day staple. Each bite of Applegate Farms turkey, chipotle aïoli, pepper-jack cheese, organic tomato, and roasted green chiles on City Bakery ciabatta reminds me of what's missing at other lunch spots. Bonus: Order a fresh-pressed juice, from the benign apple to a more adventurous blend of kale, parsley, spinach, celery, and carrot. 303 W. 11th Ave., 303-893-7914

After reading this posting, I went and tried this sandwich. It actually tasted amazing. I would recommend it for sure along with maybe a rolaid to go with it.
