You have to wonder why police and prosecutors even bother trying to bust patients with a prescription for medical marijuana. And you have to wonder what they thought of Jason Lauve, smiling and waving while holding his cane outside the Boulder County Justice Center after being acquitted by a jury for possessing too much medical marijuana.
Lauve, of Louisville, faced roughly three years in prison for a felony drug-possession charge and lesser charges after being busted in a home raid for having too much medical marijuana.
