I have long been a loyal fan of Lola's happy hour. Like most people, I enjoy sunshine and margaritas, and Lola is one of my go-to recommendations when people want to sneak out of work early. So when my editor suggested that we meet next door, at Vita, I looked longingly at Lola as I walked past. As a testament to Vita, within minutes I had forgotten all about Lola. How did I not know about Vita's spacious rooftop? How did I miss its front patio, a hot spot for people-watching? Most of all, how did I not know about Vita's happy hour special, when almost 30 of its wine-by-the-glass offerings are two-for-one? Also note: Vita's happy hour, from 3-6:30 p.m., runs seven days a week. I'm already looking forward to a lazy Sunday afternoon with a few glasses of wine. Also, Vita now offers lunch every day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., so the happy hour can be a nice end to a lunch meeting.
