National Parks and Monuments Fee-Free This Weekend

When I read that the Obama family would be touring a few Western national parks this weekend---including the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone---I was reminded that on Saturday and Sunday all the national parks and monuments are fee-free. Nice work, Obamas! That's the kind of bargain hunting I can look up to. I'd offer you a guest spot on the blog, but it seems like you're busy with your own organic garden and, you know, working on fixing the health-care system and such. Ready to follow the Obamas' lead? Here's a list of all the places you can head to for free in Colorado this weekend: Black Canyon of the Gunnison Colorado National Monument Dinosaur National Monument Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve National Park Hovenweep National Monument Mesa Verde National Park Rocky Mountain National Park
