What Custo Barcelona Has in Store for Denver Next Spring

cbThe "It" Factor for Denver: Custo Barcelona's high-octane mix of color and graphics makes this line fit for a somewhat daring girl. Because of the transparency of the fabrics, many looks are paired with bra tops and/or swimwear layered underneath, which makes it difficult to know how this collection will work at retail (CB's press office hints at production adjustments in their media press release), but the swimwear and cover-up looks are sexy, colorful, and fun. The Gist of the Show: With mix-and-match clothing shaping up to be a major trend for next season, Custo Barcelona's regular riot of patterns and textures is naturally on point. For spring, designer Custo Dalmau uses movement and lightness as key concepts in his designs, which play out in sheer fabrics, layers of fringe, cutouts, and brightly colored graphics and patterns---all combined together. Look for It Locally: The Garment District, 2595 S. Colorado Blvd., 303-757-3371. More looks from the runway: cb2cb3
