Where to Find Eco-Friendly, Locally Designed Scarves

mailHe's a graphic designer and photographer. She's a clothing and accessories designer. But Boulder-based husband-and-wife team Jonathan and Jessica Galbreath combine their skills with an eco-friendly philosophy when it comes to their label, Owl & Koi. The duo repurposes timeworn, thrift-store T-shirts into stylish scarves. Their colorful neck warmers come in either monochromatic hues or multicolor themes like "Forest" (think tree-inspired greens and browns) and "Autumn" (a mix of orange and gold tones mixed with grounding neutrals). And all you sentimental types can send Jonathan and Jessica your own threadbare Ts, and they'll custom design a scarf for you. $42-54 for ready-made and $54 for custom orders, owlandkoi.com.
