Yanni's Greek Opens at the Landmark

I've been a devotee of Yanni's family-run Greek restaurant for years and was both excited and apprehensive about its recent move to the Landmark at the Denver Tech Center. Would the authentic menu and casual neighborhood atmosphere remain intact? I needn't have fretted. The menu is unchanged, offering all my favorites: the citrusy dolmades, the crisp and tangy Atheneon salad, the luxurious and lemony soupa avgolemono, and the hearty and comforting mousaka---a cold-day must. Although the new space is larger and much spiffier than Yanni's previous digs---with huge windows, buttercream walls, and extra space between the tables---the happy family atmosphere continues, as do the complimentary shots of ouzo to start your meal. Tip: Yanni's is best known for its lamb dishes, but I suggest splurging on the grilled whole, jumbo red snapper. It's delicate, sweet, and a bit lemony. You'll think you'll never be able to eat it all. But you will. 5425 Landmark Pl., Greenwood Village, 303-692-0404

This is a really good Greek Restuarant. Try it. The lamb is awesome and the red snapper is succulent.
