Last-Minute Holiday Housewarming Gift

As I crossed things off my holiday-gift-buying list---see yesterday's roundup for ideas---I realized one category I hadn't considered was housewarming treats for those of us who'll be guests this holiday season. I understand that some of you are the crafty types and will have the time to, say, bottle homemade wine or whip up a batch of fudge. But for everyone else, I recommend checking out Pixie Dust Candy, a local chocolate store with an Etsy shop. I'm especially intrigued by the chocolate-covered potato chips, and I'm betting the homemade peanut butter cups (made with milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or vanilla) would be a big hit. (Alas, my peanut allergy has me steering clear or I would have sampled these goods myself.) Prices for all treats range from $4-$6 (plus shipping). Cheap Thrills will be on a publishing break for the rest of the week. Have a safe and happy holiday!
