New Year's Resolutions: Learn How to Knit

It's time for that end-of-year reflection, when we stare at ourselves in the bathroom mirror and ask, "Alright, what should I probably be doing better next year?" Setting goals is not easy, so Cheap Thrills is here to help you reach and keep your resolutions. And for a lot of you that means it's time to learn how to knit. With Etsy crafters all the rage, who doesn't want to get in on the handmade fun? Common Threads is hosting an Introduction to Knitting class tonight to get newbies comfortable with basic stitching and making scarves. You can go tonight only ($20) or sign up for three Wednesdays ($50). The class is from 6-7:30 p.m. Drop-ins are welcome, but call ahead at 303-449-5431. Bonus: If this is your first class, you get 10 percent off. Common Threads, 2707 Spruce St., Boulder, 303-449-5431
