More Local Craft Brewers Crack the Top 50 List
For some Coloradans, no beer will do unless it's a microbrew. And the state's proud list of nationally recognized craft brewers is growing.
The number of local beers on the Brewers Association top 50 list of brewers that produce fewer than two million barrels a year has grown from one to six. Longmont-based Oskar Blues--whose most recent releases include Pond Scum ESB, although they're probably known best for the popular, and canned, Dale's Pale Ale--made the list for the first time, points out the Boulder County Business Report.
The number one craft brewer in the nation for 2009 was Boston Beer Company. New Belgium Brewing Company, of Fort Collins, finished third.

Very interesting, however, My favorite is Dry Dock Brewing, Aurora, SW corner of Chambers and Hampden. In fact as I type these words I need a refill of my favorite, Old Bounty. Dark, delicious and yummy. I shall ask my friend next to me if she would like a refill too.
