Is the Body Found in Greeley Kayleah Wilson's?

After investigators in Greeley removed a body from a ditch one-half-mile from 12-year-old Kayleah Wilson's home, candles and stuffed animals started appearing on a bridge. Then came the candlelight vigil. Investigators haven't yet told the public whether the body is Wilson's, according to 7News, but many think it is the girl who disappeared in late March on her way to a birthday party near the Greeley Mall, spawning a massive search effort and the involvement of FBI agents. A ditch rider found a badly decomposed body, and alerted authorities, according to the Greeley Tribune. The ditch, which goes underground for about a mile, had been scoured in searches after Wilson went missing. Heavy rain on Tuesday and a water release by a ditch company may have washed the body into the open. Dee Havlik and her 11-year-old daughter, Reanon Havlik, were at the vigil: “It really hits close to home. This area is right in between our home and the day care. We are around here all the time. It is really scary. It is unthinkable." A friend of Wilson's, Shelly Culver, 18, says her friend "would not be the kind of person to run away," according to  9News, refuting a theory by investigators early in the case.
