Congressman Steve King---the Iowa Republican who controversially suggested that President Barack Obama favors blacks over whites and was
dumped from appearances with 4th Congressional District candidate Cory Gardner and the Northern Colorado Tea Party---will be rubbing elbows with former Congressman Tom Tancredo instead.
King will now be featured at the "United We Stand with Arizona!" rally at 2:30 p.m., Saturday in Loveland's Pine Tree Village Clubhouse, 399 Amethyst Ave., reports the
Fort Collins Coloradoan, which notes in
a separate article that a new conservative group based in Loveland is supporting King's visit.
As for Gardner, a Republican running against Democratic incumbent Betsy Markey, he doesn't plan on bumping into King anytime soon.
"There are no events that Cory will be at that Steve King was invited to," Gardner's campaign officials tell
The Hill.
