A brand new MAD Greens opened today, and to celebrate, the restaurant will be offering a Free Salad Day tomorrow, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Head to the new location at South Colorado Boulevard and East Evans Avenue to collect on your free salad. Aid the community by bringing either school supplies or a cash donation to benefit the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, which helps low-income families attend YMCA programming. This will be the tenth area MAD Greens location since the first restaurant opened in 2004, and the owners project they’ll be opening three more local stores by the end of this year or the beginning of 2011. New stores bring good news for Colorado farmers. MAD Greens attempts to purchase as many locally grown greens as possible.
