Class Action: NXLeveL for Creative Entrepreneurs

If all the headlines about leaving thankless jobs behind have inspired you this week, your next step is getting over the fear factor and really doing it. That can be a tough spot, particularly if you don't have a solid idea to guide you. But if you know your future entails a creative endeavor that's been taking shape in your career-related dreams, Create Denver and the the Denver Metro Small Business Development Center might be able to help. While many recent job shifters have gone back to campus (and are paying all-time tuition highs), participants in NXLevel's program for creative business start-ups and entrepreneurs commit to about one month of weekly, three-hour evening sessions that include valuable information specifically geared toward creative ventures. Early registrants (before August 23) pay $395, with the cost increasing by $100 after that date. Participants will have access to other SBDC programs throughout their enrollment, and a lucky four registrants will win a half-off tuition discount from Create Denver. For more info, visit the SBDC's website, or RSVP to attend a lunch-time info session on Tuesday, August 17. The scholarship deadline is August 20, and application info is here.

i realize this thread is a little old -- but i was one of the fortunate ones to have received a scholarship to the NxLevel for creative entrepreneurs course. one of my scholarship requirements was to blog my way through class for people to get an inside perspective on the course. if you're interested, check it out here:  blue13creative(dot)blog(spot)(dot)com. (site is saying i'm spam -- which is a matter of perspective, i suppose.)
