Fashion Week: Milly's Must-Haves for Spring

The It Factor for Denver: Striped cardigans, cropped jackets in either floral prints or solids, and sleeveless printed sheath dresses will be at the top of any Milly girl’s must-have list for spring.

The Gist of It: During a season in which lightness and transparency play such important roles for most designers, Michelle Smith takes a more whimsical approach for Milly with a mix-and-match style of fabrics and patterns. For example, a green and black knit sweater is paired with red floral-print walking shorts; a large-scale green and navy floral-print skirt is topped with a striped cardigan-style jacket; and a colorful beetle-print blouse with lots of yellow and red is paired with a green and navy plaid skirt.
