Fashion Week: Putting Money on Narciso Rodriguez

The It Factor for Denver: Any woman looking to make a true investment in her wardrobe for next season could not do better than turn to Narciso Rodriguez’s spring collection. This well-crafted show of sophisticated and timeless clothing is all about dressing real women—no gimmicks or '70s redux here.

The Gist of It: Sleek and sexy but never vulgar or inappropriate, Rodriguez’s spring line showcases clean shapes, top craftsmanship, and a minimal aesthetic that still looks feminine and alluring. From beautifully tailored collarless jackets and coats (mainly rendered in black, gray, and white) to tea dresses with sheer overlays that expose the midriff (some are embroidered with a floral motif for added drama), and a finale of white and champagne satin gowns, the entire runway lineup was modern, confident, and romantic.

Look for It At: MAX, 264 Detroit St., 303-321-4949, maxfashion.com.
