Lone Tree’s Lunch Matters may be hard to find, but with sandwiches like the house-roasted turkey with ginger-cranberry chutney, it’s worth seeking out. Located inside the Easy Entrées space, this two-month-old deli serves a roster of deftly prepared sandwiches, sides, and soups.

The intelligent, high-quality eats come courtesy of Cook Street School of Fine Cooking alumna Abby Aronsohn. I like that she roasts the turkey breast and roast beef in-house, dreams up unusual combinations like the frittata with pancetta and leeks (call ahead for this one), and ups the ante on classic combinations. Take the tuna salad: You can order it the usual way with lettuce and mayo on wheat, or you can try Aronsohn’s inspired version with imported tuna Nicoise, sliced egg, lettuce, and anchovy aïoli on a baguette.

Tip: Lunch Matters functions primarily as a take-out spot, and delivery is available.
