Treats: Kim & Jake's Cakes Teams up with Glacier Homemade Ice Cream

What could be better than cake and ice cream? How about cake in ice cream? I give this combo a thumbs up—especially if it’s Kim & Jake’s amazing cake mixed into creamy Glacier Homemade Ice Cream. In February, the Boulder businesses began teaming up to create limited-edition, special-occasion flavor combinations: red velvet cake with cream cheese icing mixed into vanilla ice cream for Valentine’s Day; colorful King Cake ice cream for Mardis Gras; and stout-chocolate cake with malted milk chocolate butter cream mixed into a Bailey’s Irish Cream ice cream for St. Patrick’s Day.

The latest flavor—Vindalicious—is just for the heck of it. Pick up a pint for ginger-Vindaloo spice cake and salted chai-curry caramel icing swirled into caramel ice cream. As if that’s not enough, the whole getup is sprinkled with black sesame seeds.

Find the ice cream at Glacier’s Boulder locations: 33 28th St., Boulder, 303-440-6542; 4760 Baseline Road, Boulder, 303-499-4760
