Photo of the Week: Repo Men

The Colorado Convention Center is packed nearly every week with one program or another. This week was a little different: Service Employees International Union (SEIU) held its international conference there. What's the big deal? The labor union is massive (it covers more than 100 occupations and some 1.8 million workers).

Minnesota's Property Services Union (SEIU Local 26), which represents more than 5,000 janitors, security officers, and window cleaners, commissioned this mural by artists collective Rogue Citizen. The theme, "REPO," aims to ignite people to "reclaim personal, community, and labor rights."

The bad news? The mural was split into three parts yesterday, but, hopefully, one panel will find a permanent home in Denver. —Natasha Gardner
