Travel: "Share the Love" Colorado

You may have noticed the new heart-shaped Colorado flag logo if you follow the Colorado Tourism Office on Twitter or Facebook. It's part of  their new initiative, "Share the Love," to help boost the state's tourism after a fire-y summer.

As part of the "Share the Love" campaign, several hotels, lodges, and parks across the state are offering some sweet deals on summer vacation packages. From exploring Western slope wine country, to horseback riding adventures in Leadville, to rafting the Cache la Poudre River—locals and visitors alike have plenty of adventures to choose from.

Social media users are encouraged to participate in the campaign by downloading the "Share the Love" logo and using it as their profile image. By doing so, you could score a limited edition t-shirt. Get the photo here. Join the conversation, post photos, and share travel stories about Colorado by using #ShareTheLove hashtag on Twitter.

We love that businesses are pulling together to bring some positive attention to our beautiful state. And, with the rates on some of these packages, there's no reason not to get out there and explore.
