As the Anschutz Medical Campus in east Denver has continued to grow, so have the number of patients and families visiting its numerous care centers. For a long time, there was a dearth of quality restaurants in the neighborhood—especially places to relax and enjoy a beer. That changed with the opening of Cedar Creek Pub just over a year ago.

Located in the 21 Fitzsimmons luxury apartment complex close to Children's Hospital, the pub offers your standard grub: burgers (try the popular San Juan, pictured, with pepper jack, jalapeños, and fresh guacamole), fish and chips, a few salads, and some signature dishes like bourbon pub steak.

But the biggest draw is the weekly rotating list of Colorado craft beers on tap, including Paragon Apricot Blonde from Dry Dock Brewing in Aurora. In fact, Cedar Creek's champions many Denver beverage companies by showcasing 10 breweries, six distillieries, three soda makers, and five wineries.
